Dawson Hydraulic Hammers
Dawson produce hydraulic double acting percussion hammers, whereby the ram weight is driven both vertically upwards and downwards by hydraulic pressure delivered from a purpose built Dawson power pack. This double action ensures that the power to weight ratio of the hammer is as efficient as possible, and results in the hammer being much more powerful than a hammer having a single acting ram weight of the same size. The double action operation produces rapid blow rates, which in addition to increasing production assist with better penetration into harder soils and soft rock than slower hammers.
Dawson HPH 1200 & HPH 1800: These hammers fitted with leg grip inserts which can be used to drive single or double sheet piles (U or Z sections) or Universal bearing piles (UBP or UC sections). With leg grips removed they can be used to drive steel tube or timber piles.
Junttan Hydraulic Hammers
Our range of Junttan hydraulic impact hammers all include the new HHK-A (‘Advanced’ hydraulic power; 1.2m max drop) or HHK-S (Super hydraulic power, 1.5 m max drop) technology. This technology introduces mild acceleration on the down stroke to overcome losses associated with other impact hammers & ensure rated energy is transferred to the pile.
These hammers are also designed with an additional ‘S’ (meaning silenced), providing the lowest noise emission of impact hammers. Junttan power packs conform with stringent CE standards on environmental emission.
All Junttan hammers can be used in either leader mount or rope suspended modes.

These hammers can be configured to operate in 7 tonne and 9 tonne modes, and used either in rope suspended mode or fitted to piling leaders. These hammers are suitable for driving steel, tube piles up to 1200 mm in diameter, H piles, precast concrete and timber piles.
Junttan HHK 3/4/5 SS (1.5 m drop, silenced)
Junttan HHK 3/4/5 AS (1.2m drop, silenced)
These hammers can be configured to operate in 3, 4 and 5 tonne modes, and used either in rope suspension mode or fitted to piling leaders. The hammer is suitable for steel tube piles up to 650 mm diameter, it has purpose built sheet pile leg guides and can also be used for H piles, precast concrete and timber piles.
The hammers are generally supplied ex our yard at Vineyard NSW. Service Supervisors are available ex Sydney on a fee for service basis to commission the equipment and to train your operators & maintenance personnel either on site or in our yard. It is strongly recommended that you make use of this service in order to comply with current O,H&S regulations.
