2010 Pilequip Footy Tipping Competition

The competition runs across all states with tips required for all 3 codes of football. Prizes are given for each football code as well as for the overall total competition, i.e. combined total of three codes. If you only know one code you can still be in the money, by winning your known code or even one of the 30 Weekly Cash Prizes of $100.

Competition Commencement Dates are:

Super 14s - 12th February, 2010

NRL - 12th March, 2010

AFL - 25th March, 2010

RULES 

  • Tipsters are to select tips from all AFL, NRL and Super 14s competitions.
  • Entry is free to invited participants. From time to time during the competition emails may be sent containing offers and details of Pilequip and/or sponsors products.
  • TIPS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED BY 5PM ON FRIDAY OF EACH WEEK, unless there are earlier games in the week, in which case you will be advised of the revised time on the website. (Time is 5PM AEDST i.e 5PM Sydney, 4PM Brisbane until the end of daylight saving.)
  • The competition is open to all people with an involvement or association with the Piling, Engineering and Foundation industry, by invitation from Pilequip. Email fun@pilequip.com.au to request an invitation. Pilequip reserves the right to remove uninvited tippers from the competition.

  • Upon joining, correct contact details MUST be entered. Failure to do so could result in exclusion of your entry as well as failure to recieve prizes awarded.
  • Failure to submit tips will result in away teams being awarded for that week.
  • Tippers can join the competition up until the end of April. The average score for each round will be allocated up until the date of joining.
  • The competition is for FUN rivalry. Pilequips decision on disputes is final and will be impartial. Pilequip staff are eligible to enter, only Linda Roberts (administrator of competition) will not be eligible for cash prizes. 
  • Should one or more people finish tied, for one of the end of season prizes then the cash prize will be divided equally amoungst the tied winners.
  • A weekly cash prize will be awarded to the highest overall total score in each round. In the case of a tie, the tipping of a winning margin of a selected game will be used to determine the winner. The tipping margin is for the team selected by the tipper to win in the general tipping table.
  • All prizes will be forwarded in the form of a company cheque, by post within 30 days of completion.

 

Tipping and Points

  • Tipping will be done for the premiership rounds only (the Finals Season is NOT included)
  • Tipping will be done via a website www.pilequip.com.au/footy_tipping
  • The ladder and results will be posted on the website each week.
  • We would like as many people as possible to enter. Therefore it would be great if someone in your organisation could do the tipping for those who do not have access to the internet.
  • Points awarded each round will be: win = 1, loss = 0, draw = 1 (we will not be picking draws).
