Leading specialist contractors, including McConnell Dowell Constructors and John Holland Group, have been integral to delivering several key upgrade projects, where delivery ON TIME has been critical to success on the projects.
These contractors have worked in relationship with Pilequip to source and supply the specialised piling driving equipment, to meet project requirements of driving hundreds of large diameter tube piles up to 1.600m diameter, weighing in excess of 40-tonnes each, and requiring driving forces up to 30 tonne.metres.
Because of time pressures and accelerated construction programs, this has often meant multiple hammers have been required for each project.
In each instance, Pilequip have supplied JUNTTAN hydraulic impact hammers – and hence, Junttan hammers are now dominating Australian coast-line projects. (In all, there are now over 50 Junttan hydraulic impact hammers working throughout Australia and New Zealand – by far the most of any manufacturer - and are being used in projects varying from lightweight precast piling operations through to the large steel tubular piling projects).
Multiple large Junttan hammers have been used on the following mining and resources infrastructure upgrade projects:
Junttan hammers are recognised as market leaders world-wide because of their design ingenuity which ensures efficient transfer of energy to the piles, relatively simple operation and maintenance requirements, resulting in unparalleled reliability, and hence ‘project delivery’.
Junttan hammers range in size from 3-tonne through to 25-tonne. Pilequip is able to sell or rent a range of these hammers to you. Pilequip has factory trained Service Technicians who specialise in maintaining and providing training in the safe, effective operation of this equipment. Pilequip also stock a large range of spares.
